For the second time, the public transport sector organizations invite you to participate in the Public Transport Hero Award. The aim is to show that a lot of good work is being done in the industry and to highlight the people who are not always seen as frontrunners. It can be a person who works with services that are rarely noticed or appreciated but who works in one of the core areas of public transport.
Who would you like to nominate who you think deserves a little extra attention for their work?

Travelers vote for the "Årets station" - Best Station of the Year

Stations, or stops, play a central role for travelers. The organization Resenärerna is running a project aimed at improving stations. They have analyzed almost 400 stations and stops, by reviewing 70 different checkpoints.

Based on the data, some of the best stations in Sweden are identified and rewarded, with the aim of selecting the country’s best station every year. The “Best Station of the Year” 2026 is selected under Persontrafik.

Resenärerna is a nationwide organization in Sweden that represents the interests of public transport users and is a member organization of Swedish Consumers. It operates independently and is non-partisan.
